OffDuty Trades ("we") is a sole proprietorship in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through offdutytrades.com, why, and what you can do about it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Why we use it

We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who processes it for us

We use a few service providers to run the site and our systems: Make (automation), Google Workspace and Google Sheets (storage and email), Twilio (text messages) and Google Maps Platform (address lookups and roof measurements). Some of these store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to local authorities under their laws.

Cookies and ads

If we run ads on Facebook or Instagram, the site may use the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies to measure visits and form submissions. You can control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram settings and block cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep audit and contact details for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case we keep what's needed for the business relationship and our tax records.
